Episode 97 – Expanding on Dave Rubin’s idea of private regulation on the Joe Rogan Experience

We don’t agree with a lot of what Dave Rubin says, but we still like him.  The guy’s intellectually honest and curious and seems willing to talk to anyone about anything.  Rubin was recently on the Joe Rogan Experience talking about a number of issues and the topic of private regulation came up.  Although Rubin doesn’t believe that there should be no regulation, he was making the case for seriously reducing the amount of regulation.

His head was in the right place, but he’s just not at the point where he’s ready to reject any government regulation.  Fortunately, Slappy and I do support completely free markets unfettered by any state intervention, so we’ll take Rubin’s position to its libertarian conclusion.
